Farmingtons has invested in state of the art machine centres all linked to the Catia V5 CAD systems and measurement equipment.

Typical of this type of machinery is the 5 axis laser cell that produces all ballistic steel parts from CAD data. This ensures all parts are reproduced consistantly and meet the designed intent.

All armoured and non armoured interior and exterior part tools and fixtures are produced to the CAD designs via TEBIS conversion data on to one of many multi axis machining centres.

Farmingtons has a vehicle sized digitising measurement machine which is used to establish initial vehicle datum hard points to generate the initial CAD model. This machine is used at the end of the prototype process to confirm the final assembly meets the designed intent.
